Position Summary The Warehouse & Purchasing Specialist owns warehouse, material handling, purchasing, inventory, returns/RMAs, and counter sales activities supporting Service & Install. The position owns the material flow for the assigned department while sharing common warehouse organization and housekeeping responsibilities with the warehouse associate. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Material Flow Receive, unload, inspect, store, organize, pull, tag, and stage materials for the assigned department. Verify shipments against purchase orders or packing documentation and address shortages, damage, or incorrect items. Prepare job or service materials in time to support scheduled field work and communicate shortages or readiness concerns early. Purchasing & Vendor Coordination Purchase required parts, materials, equipment, and supplies within established authority. Request and compare vendor pricing, availability, lead times, substitutions, and order status as needed. Follow up on outstanding orders and maintain organized purchasing documentation. Support responsible purchasing decisions based on cost, availability, quality, and operational need. Inventory, Returns & RMA Monitor commonly used stock, replenish approved items, conduct inventory counts, and research discrepancies. Maintain accurate Service inventory control across warehouse and approved vehicle-stock locations, and coordinate vehicle inventory counts and reconciliations with assigned employees and their direct Manager or Supervisor. Participate in General Manager-led inventory process design and calibration by providing operational input on receiving, storage, material issue, vehicle stock, transfers, returns, RMAs, replenishment, and physical-count requirements. Process returns, warranty items, repairs, replacements, credits, and RMAs through completion. Receive unused, defective, warranty, and RMA materials returned by field employees through the approved handoff process, verify required identification or supporting information, and assume responsibility for processing and tracking the return/RMA through resolution. Maintain organized supporting records and communicate unresolved inventory or return issues. Counter Sales & Material Handling Support company counter sales and provide professional customer service within established knowledge and authority. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment when trained and authorized. Load, unload, move, and stage materials safely while protecting company property and maintaining clear warehouse paths. Shared Warehouse & Company Property Coordinate shared warehouse organization and housekeeping fairly with the Warehouse Associate. Maintain clean, organized, accessible storage areas and appropriate material identification. Support control, storage, issue, return, and condition tracking of applicable tools, equipment, and company property. Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, inventory, return, RMA, job-cost, and material information in company systems. Communicate shortages, delays, incorrect materials, or vendor issues promptly to assigned department leadership. Take ownership of purchases, returns, RMAs, and outstanding material needs through completion. Performance Expectations Maintain reliable warehouse and purchasing support for Service & Install. Ensure Service parts and materials are accurately prepared and available when needed. Maintain appropriate inventory accuracy and replenishment. Process returns and RMAs through completion. Provide professional counter sales support and safe material handling. Share warehouse organization responsibilities fairly with the Warehouse Associate. Work Philosophy The Specialist should take direct ownership of Service & Install material flow from purchasing and receiving through preparation, inventory control, returns, and technician readiness. The position should anticipate recurring parts needs rather than wait for shortages to disrupt Service and/or Install operations.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
