Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Job Summary Do you like staying busy, working hands-on, and knowing your work directly impacts the next day's operation? We're looking for a dependable, detail-driven 2nd Shift Receiving / Warehouse Associate to help keep our warehouse organized, accurate, and ready for the following day. This position plays an important role in our receiving operation. You'll receive late inbound deliveries and transfer trucks, verify and inspect incoming product, complete put-away, restock customer returns, assist with inventory organization, and make sure late-arriving inventory is available for next-day orders. Accuracy is critical in this position. Receiving mistakes affect inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, and ultimately our customers. We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and finishing the job. What You'll Be Doing Receiving & Inbound Freight Receive and process vendor deliveries arriving later in the day Receive inbound vendor pickups transported using company vehicles Receive late internal transfer trucks and prepare inventory for next-day shipments Verify incoming product against receiving paperwork, packing slips, and bills of lading Check product carefully for correct item numbers, quantities, and condition Ensure drivers remain until counts and receiving information have been verified Document shortages, overages, damages, or other discrepancies Take photos of damaged freight and communicate issues promptly Maintain accurate receiving paperwork, including required signatures and dates Inventory & Put-Away Complete any remaining put-away from first shift Properly label, organize, and put away received inventory Verify products have the correct warehouse location before put-away Use temporary locations when necessary until permanent locations are assigned Assist with inventory location assignments and cycle counts Restock sellable customer returns received during the day Separate and organize damaged or return-to-vendor inventory Help prepare rack and bin locations for incoming freight Warehouse Support Make sure late-arriving inventory is received and available for next-day orders Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and other warehouse shifts as needed Assist with picking and general warehouse duties when needed Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment Perform regular lifting and physically demanding warehouse work Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and warehouse area Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies What We're Looking For Availability Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Prior warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred Forklift and warehouse equipment experience preferred Strong attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable Ability to read and accurately compare product numbers, quantities, and receiving documents Ability to identify and document damaged, missing, or incorrect product Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical work throughout the shift Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities Able to work independently while communicating effectively with other departments and shifts Dependable, reliable, and ready to work as scheduled Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude Excellent attendance is required for this position Why You'll Like Working Here This isn't a position where you'll stand in one place doing the same thing all day.
