Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic oral surgery team as a Clinical Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment! In this role, you will support dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure the highest standards of infection control, and create a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, medical documentation, and patient interaction will help us provide top-tier oral surgery services while fostering a positive experience for every patient. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in oral surgery. Duties Assist surgeons chairside during examinations and complex procedures such as extractions and implants. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed Take dental X-rays using advanced equipment like 3D scanners and digital imaging systems while maintaining patient safety standards Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) in WinOMS software to accurately document patient information and treatment plans Provide vital signs monitoring and medical imaging support for patients with special needs or pediatric dentistry requirements Educate patients on dental procedures, and post-treatment care to promote overall oral health Qualifications Proven experience as a Certified Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Proficiency with EMR systems, medical coding and records management is a plus Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic technique Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient rapport Certification in X-ray techniques and familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team including dental front office staff Join us to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and technical excellence! Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
