Job Description

Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on tasks such as order picking, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Duties Build stable pallets with electronics, laptops, desktops, monitors, etc. Properly stack and balance different-sized boxes/items Use stretch wrap, strapping, corner boards, and pallet bands Help disasemble electronics material. Load and unload trucks safely Use a pallet jack and, ideally, a forklift Measure and record pallet dimensions and weight Label pallets and prepare them for freight pickup Understand dock loading and freight requirements Secure pallets so they won't shift or fall during transportation Help with receiving, sorting, scanning, and moving IT equipment Keep the warehouse organized and safe Requirements Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cranes. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations. Experience with materials handling techniques and safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes is advantageous. Experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not mandatory. Proficient in using RF scanners for order picking and inventory management. Understanding of construction principles may be beneficial for certain tasks.
