Job Description
Description:
- Line up each Town driver's delivery stops according to customer requirements
- Pull products from frozen, refrigerated, dry (and local, where applicable)
- Check quality of product (date, leaks or damage, etc.), replace if needed and document for inventory control
- Accurately load trucks according to the delivery driver's stops
- Must ensure occupational food safety guidelines
- Keep all work areas in the warehouse clean and orderly; aisles kept clear
- Work in a safe and professional manner
- Assist Town customers with questions, requests or concerns and escalate when/where necessary
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma preferred
- Warehouse food distribution and forklift experience preferred
- Computer knowledge helpful
- Must be dependable, flexible and able to work as a part of a team
- Good organizational and math skills
- Ability to bend and reach for products on pallets
- Ability to lift repetitively 40 pounds on average (and up to 80 pounds)
- Ability to climb into and out of truck compartments
- Ability to climb ladder
- Ability to work on concrete floors for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in extreme climates
