Dock Hand (Part-Time) Enjoy working outdoors and being around the water? Freedom Boat Club is looking for dependable, energetic individuals to join our marina team in Hampton Roads. We provide a unique boating experience for our members by handling all the logistics—so they can simply show up and enjoy their time on the water. With a global network of club locations and a strong local presence, our team is focused on delivering convenience, safety, and exceptional service at every dock. What You'll Do As a Dock Hand, you'll support daily marina operations and play an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for members.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Assisting with docking and launching boats Organizing and directing traffic in marina areas Refueling boats and helping maintain fleet readiness Keeping docks and vessels clean and presentable Greeting members and helping them get on and off the water with ease Following safety procedures and maintaining a safe environment Pitching in wherever needed to support the team What We're Looking For Friendly, customer-first attitude Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stay organized and multitask during busy periods Willingness to learn boating basics and safety practices Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail Flexible availability, especially on weekends and holidays Ability to obtain a Virginia Boater Safety Certificate (free online) Why You'll Like Working Here Flexible part-time hours Hands-on training—no prior boating experience required Team-oriented atmosphere Opportunity to earn tips Great role for those who enjoy active, outdoor work Join Our Crew If you're looking for a fun, active job on the waterfront and enjoy helping people have a great experience, apply today and become part of our dockside team!
