50 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift Details:
5:00 AM
  • 1:30 PM (Core Hours) Monday
  • Friday OT as needed Full Time / Direct Hire HHT Benefits Starting Day 1

  • Eligible after 1 year of service Our Pattern Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the tooling used to mold our cast iron to produce Hearth & Home Technologies' industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products.
This is an apprenticeship position where you will learn the skills necessary to become an expert in the field. Pattern Technician Duties Include Stage molding tools for next day's production schedule Load tooling into molding cassettes and deliver to molding department utilizing a forklift Unload molding tools from production and remove tooling from cassettes after production requirements are satisfied Cut, install, sand and polish gating systems on new molding tools Actively participate in continuous improvement activities Learn how to perform basic pattern repairs (i.e., replacing in-gates, vents, runners, wipers & cups) Learn how to identify and resolve molding scrap defects via gating enhancements Work in a team-driven environment to move quality products safely and improve efficiency Work Environment Manufacturing & foundry environment Exposure to heat, heavy materials, and industrial equipment Safety-focused setting requiring adherence to all safety policies & procedures In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and Holidays, and Retirement Benefits).
