Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouseperson to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, materials handling, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving. Responsibilities Unload containers with forklift or by hand. Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, stock, and move inventory safely and efficiently. Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Conduct picking & packing activities for order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Handle shipping & receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and preparing items for dispatch. Maintain compliance with safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety protocols, and adhering to OSHA standards during all warehouse activities. Assist with stocking products on shelves or pallets, organizing materials for easy access, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean and organized. Support manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following proper techniques to prevent injury. Use inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms to update records and generate reports related to stock movements. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including certification), cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, or similar heavy machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocol adherence. Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of safety regulations related to materials handling equipment operation and general warehouse safety practices. Technical proficiency with logistics tools such as order pickers and material handling equipment operation is highly desirable.
