Yard Associate

Yard Associate Mitchell Lumber Co is accepting applications for a Yard Associate. Yard Associates assist customers in the lumberyard with loading products, locating materials, and ensuring accurate and timely customer service. Yard Associates are to maintain a safe and organized yard environment. They are the last contact in the store and need to ensure that customers leave with a positive experience.

What you will do:

Give excellent customer service Safely load customers with building materials Verify invoices and assist with locating and pulling materials Maintain a clean, organized and safe yard Operate equipment and other tools in a safe and responsible manner Keep the yard inventory stocked and protected Communicate with the sales team What we are looking for: Friendly and supportive team member

Reliability:

trustworthiness in handling cash and punctuality for shifts Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Excellent communication Experience with customer service Experience with processing payments Knowledge of building materials Forklift experience
