Fife, WA Schedule:
Monday-Friday 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Pay:
$23.00/hr. - $26.00/hr. (depending on experience) The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of vinyl and fiberglass lineals used for window products within a distribution center environment. This role focuses strictly on warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, without involvement in manufacturing or production line activities. Driven by a people-first culture and commitment to quality, MITER Brands serves customers nationwide through innovative products, exceptional service, and industry-leading expertise Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and transport vinyl and fiberglass lineals within the warehouse using forklifts and material handling equipment. Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders and transfer shipments accurately. Handle long, fragile lineals carefully to prevent damage such as bending, cracking, or surface defects. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists, orders, and inventory records. Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations for efficient access and inventory control. Bundle, wrap, label, and secure materials for shipment. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and system updates (WMS or RF scanners). Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow all warehouse procedures, shipping schedules, and safety guidelines. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred. Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be certified. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver long materials (up to 50-75 lbs). Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification. Experience handling vinyl, fiberglass, or similar construction materials. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanning tools.
