The shift will be Mon-Fri 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. This job is responsible for supervising or performing metals processing work and distribution work. This includes specialized equipment operation and/or supporting functions and requires the successful applicant to gain practical knowledge of the nature and operations of materials, facilities and methods employed by Service Steel Aerospace in metals processing and distribution. Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions. Responsible for moving inventory or equipment, filling customer orders, pulling material from racks, unloading incoming material, loading trucks and/or customer vehicles, & helping maintain the upkeep of the warehouse. Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations. Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation. Tags material for proper identification and completes all required documentation. Moves material from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane. Operates Forklifts, Side Loaders, and Order pickers for the purpose of loading and unloading racks, trailers and containers. Operates Crane Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Sorts and places material on rack, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. Spot checks on inventory, completes daily and/or ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material, as directed. Reports any irregularities to supervisor for direction. Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management. Retrieves material and transfers stock to band saws manually, with forklift, or by crane. Operates band saws and observes cutting operation. Installs saw blade in band saws and sets blade cutting speed for specified operation. Removal of band saw blades. Inputs data to set band saw parameters based on shop work order specifications. May manually position material using back stops in band saw. Measures work for conformance to specifications, using ruler, tape measure, and measuring calipers. Marks identifying data on product. Moves material with forklift. Moves material with crane. Data Input into computer inventory system. Follows all quality inspections and quality requirements in regard to work orders and Quality Procedure Manual. Follows all work instructions pertaining to job. Follows all JSA's for equipment worked. Follows allSafety Procedures Physical Requirements:

Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Required Skills:
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, side loaders, or order pickers is preferred. Ability to safely operate band saw equipment or willingness to be trained. Basic computer skills for inventory and work order data entry. Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent minimum Ability to quickly learn multiple functions in a complex industry. Experienced working to targets and deadlines. Adaptable and have a positive attitude towards change. Motivated, communicative and goal oriented. The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $21.00/Hr. - USD $24.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.Benefits
