A Day in the Life of the

Warehouse Technician I or II:

The Warehouse Technician I/II provides essential warehouse and distribution support by receiving, processing, testing, staging, and shipping equipment and inventory. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing orders for delivery or pickup, generating warehouse reports, and ensuring equipment is cleaned, organized, and ready for deployment. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements, along with the ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment, drive company vehicles, and work independently. Strong organizational skills, basic technical aptitude, and a customer-focused approach are key to success in this role. General warehouse and distribution support Prepare and complete orders for pickup or shipping Receive and process CPE/warehouse stock and other miscellaneous deliveries; cleaning and prepare equipment Perform warehouse inventory controls Warehouse reports Testing/staging equipment Retail equipment Adhere to and follow safety protocols Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the

Ability to adhere to local, federal regulations and company policies Ability to implement simple record keeping procedures Ability to drive company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices Ability to work independently Ability to demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations Knowledge of cable television products and service Ability to comply with all company implemented safety procedures Knowledge of and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics Ability to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections Ability to maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license, fork lift operation, hand truck operation, organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to bend and lift materials up to 75 lbs from floor level to a height of 6 feet to place them on shelves or on and off vehicles Work performed in both climatecontrolled and nonclimatecontrolled environments, with potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, damp conditions, uneven surfaces, heights, and moving vehicles Prolonged standing (50-70% of the time), walking, sitting, and driving required Ability to safely climb and work from ladders for extended periods of time Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and ladders, and using hands above and below shoulder level Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, crawl, and maintain various body positions and perform fine motor tasks, forceful gripping (Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections), and limited keyboarding Close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus and ability to differentiate between sizes and colors of wires

Education:

  • Benefits listed above are for regular full-time position The base pay range for this position is $18.

00-25.20 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
