Job Description

Southeast Unloading is seeking to hire hard-working Warehouse Clerk to oversee daily receivable dock scheduling, accounting functions and data collection processes in a warehouse environment. $20 per hour
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Receiving Clerk will schedule inbound shipments and oversee the day-to-day dock administration within the receiving operations, which includes coordination with delivery drivers, unloading staff assignments, general record-keeping and responding to requests and inquiries.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE + SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1+ year experience as a Clerk in a warehouse environment A high school diploma or equivalent is required Must have experience using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word and Excel Proven extraordinary customer service skills by phone and in person Must have successful track record of prompt and have timely attendance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operation of hand-held device to record all SEU business-related dock activities Assist and coordinate with truck drivers regarding unloading services Provide excellent customer service by phone and in-person by interacting courteously and professionally in all situations Processes all DataCom checks for payment by calling in payments Oversees all accounting office duties such as making deposits and scanning checks Records and oversees data collection for all accounting procedures. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all records Organizes warehouse office and work areas for orderliness at all times Other duties as assigned by Site Operations Manager
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment Ability to withstand extreme temperatures Ability to withstand loud noises and multiple distractions Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Basic English reading, writing and mathematical skills Available to work overtime and weekends if and when needed 20/20 Vision with correction Once selected for hire, successful candidates will be required to: Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States Pass a pre-employment drug screen Consent to a criminal background screening

Southeast Unloading is a third party logistics services provider headquartered in Northeast Florida. Our company is contracted to unload general merchandise, grocery, perishable, retail foods and miscellaneous products and/or pharmaceuticals in warehouses and distribution centers. We do not own the sites where we unload trucks but rather provide freight-unloading services, pallet management, tote washing, trailer stripping and other services such as driver-assisting, picking, will-call, export labeling, housekeeping, and janitorial to our customers' warehouses and distribution centers.
