$23.31-$26.84

We are searching for a candidate who is a team player with a can-do attitude who enjoys a challenge. This is a full-time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Position Summary:
Northwest Hardwoods is seeking dependable, safety-focused General Laborers to support production operations at our Longview, WA facility. This position performs hands-on work throughout the mill, including handling lumber, maintaining product flow, cleaning work areas, operating equipment as trained, and cross-training in other production roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Work safely and follow all NWH safety policies, procedures, and work rules Handle, sort, stack, and move lumber by dimension, species, and grade Support safe and efficient product flow throughout the production process Use hand tools, wheelbarrows, and other equipment to clean sawmill debris and maintain work areas Operate mobile equipment as trained and authorized Maintain awareness of surroundings and make quick, safe decisions in a fast-paced production environment Cross-train in other production positions as needed Maintain good housekeeping and support a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
Requirements Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Strong commitment to safety Dependable with excellent attendance Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and work in a manufacturing environment Ability to wear required personal protective equipment at all times Willingness to learn, cross-train, and work in different areas of the facility Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
