Warehouse Worker Job Description This full-time Warehouse Worker role supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will operate a stand-up forklift, handle materials, and use basic computer systems to support inventory tracking and order processing. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available, offering a consistent work routine and opportunities for additional hours. Responsibilities Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to support production and shipping activities. Receive, unload, and sort incoming materials and products using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Use basic computer systems to track inventory, process orders, and update records in a timely and accurate manner. Perform regular inventory counts and quality checks to ensure products meet standards and quantities are correct. Support general labor and material handling tasks, including organizing, stacking, and moving pallets and products. Communicate with customers and other facilities in a professional manner when coordinating shipments or resolving issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols. Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to support consistent warehouse operations. Essential Skills Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or similar environment. Ability to use basic computer systems for inventory tracking and order processing. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and inventory control. Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and commitment to a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. Strong work ethic and willingness to support various warehouse tasks as needed. Ability to communicate with customers and other facilities in a professional and courteous manner. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general forklift operation beyond stand-up models. Background in receiving, material handling, and general labor within a warehouse or production environment.
