Job Description

Key Responsibilities Partner with the Distribution Manager on food and non-food life essentials distributions, including setup and cleanup, check-ins, data entry, and general operations Support Mobile Food, CHOW programs, and special food programs, including delivery, route planning, pantries, and preparing food boxes and bags Assist with the pick-up of food donations, including Grocery Rescue Maintain daily work and vehicle logs Maintain all food donation receipts and turn them in to the Director of Operations Keep workspaces clean and organized, including the food bank, warehouse, facilities, trucks, and containers Apply best practice measures in the maintenance of food storage, ensuring that stock is dated and food is properly cooled Assist with monitoring food bank inventory daily, including tracking in-kind donations, Assist with the execution of safety and emergency plans to ensure the safety of all employees and volunteers Support, train, and task volunteers, interns, and individuals in job training Assist with conflict resolution with volunteers and participants as needed Partner with the operations team on building and lot maintenance Partner with the operations team on fleet inspection and maintenance Assist with seasonal programs and special events Backup operations team members as needed, including daily tasks and reporting Represent Helping Hands in a positive, professional manner with volunteers, participants, and community partners Other duties as assigned The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Must be 21 years of age or older; and Must pass background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a non-profit organization Proficient in using data management software, with a demonstrated ability to effectively enter data and organize information Proficient in
