Part-time Job Duties & Responsibilities Greet and interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise Assist with customers' orders by loading and unloading products as needed Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse Assemble products and displays Deliver products to customer delivery points Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities Dispense propane and kerosene Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks Maintain a safe and clean work environment Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes, and continuously develop skills Collaborate, communicate well, and effectively relay information with an emphasis on positive professional relationships Practice punctual and reliable attendance Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Maintain a safe and insurable driving record Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds Professional appearance and demeanor Proven track record of being dependable and reliable Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating websites and receiving/sending emails Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment Preferred Qualifications Product knowledge in one or more of: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, lawn & garden, or wild bird supplies Schedule Part-time, in-person position, 28-32 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. Compensation & Benefits $17.25 - $19.80/hour.
