Job Title:
Warehouse Associate (Part-Time) Job Description This full-time Warehouse Associate role supports the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of products manufactured in the facility. You help maintain warehouse procedures and internal processes so that all incoming and outgoing materials are received, labeled, packed, and shipped correctly. Responsibilities Receive incoming products from outside vendors, unload shipments safely, and verify part numbers and quantities against documentation. Label packaging accurately for in-house coating, ensuring all items are clearly identified and properly prepared for processing. Pack semi-finished products for shipment to the coating facility, securing items to prevent damage in transit. Receive returned goods, inspect them, and return them into finished product inventory according to established procedures. Double-check orders for accuracy, pack items securely, and ship deliveries using manual shipping processes when automatic systems cannot process them. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by regularly cleaning work areas and properly storing materials and equipment. Operate and care for warehouse tools and equipment responsibly, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly. Follow operational procedures, rules, and schedules to support efficient warehouse workflows and on-time shipments. Assist team members with specific tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and collaborative teamwork. Handle all merchandise, tools, and equipment with care and concern to minimize damage and support high-quality standards. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment. Proficiency with packing, picking, loading, unloading, and handling warehouse inventory. Knowledge of inventory control practices, including verifying quantities and matching part numbers. Experience in shipping and receiving, including preparing packages and processing shipments. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including operational procedures and schedules. Strong attention to detail when labeling, packing, and verifying products. Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area while handling multiple tasks. Willingness to assist team members and work collaboratively to meet operational goals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with manual shipping processes for orders that cannot be processed automatically. Comfort working with semi-finished and finished goods in a manufacturing-related warehouse. Ability to handle returned goods and reintegrate them into finished product inventory according to guidelines. Reliability in adhering to shift schedules and completing assigned tasks within designated timeframes. Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment. Why Work Here? The work involves standing, moving throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading products, and using standard warehouse tools and equipment. The facility emphasizes cleanliness and organization, with expectations to keep work areas tidy and equipment properly maintained. You follow established operational procedures, rules, and schedules to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
