Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant movement of products. This role works with inventory and ERP systems, handles hazardous materials in accordance with regulations, and helps maintain an organized, safe, and high-performing warehouse operation. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify purchase orders, and ensure all materials match packing lists and documentation. Process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately according to customer and internal requirements. Inspect products for damage or defects and report any discrepancies or quality issues promptly. Handle returns by processing documentation, updating systems, and returning items to appropriate inventory locations. Perform inventory control activities, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of physical inventory with system records. Use inventory and ERP systems to enter data, track stock levels, and maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions. Schedule pickups with carriers and coordinate loading and unloading of pallets and shipments. Operate RF scanners to pick, pack, and track inventory and shipments accurately. Rack and un-rack parts safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials. Dispose of hazardous waste materials in accordance with applicable procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members and other departments to support on-time delivery and efficient warehouse operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a full-service surface finishing operation supporting commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. The facility provides start-to-finish solutions, including non-destructive testing, chemical processing, painting, and sub-assembly, with ten sites strategically located across the United States. You work in a production and warehouse setting that involves handling parts, racking and un-racking components, and supporting finishing operations. The role requires working around industrial equipment, handling pallets, and using inventory and ERP systems, RF scanners, and other warehouse tools. Safety procedures and regulatory compliance, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, are an integral part of daily operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynwood, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
