Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description We are seeking a Warehouse Associate who will play a crucial role in the efficient handling and management of materials within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will use material handling equipment to ensure smooth operation and accurate processing of orders. Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks, and handcarts to transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse. Accurately pick production orders based on work order packets, ensuring correct warehouse locations and quantities. Follow instructions regarding pallet types, product segregation, special label requirements, and other conditions. Execute and record transactions using RF/barcode scanners and warehouse management systems like Oracle EBS. Monitor product quality frequently and report issues to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Conduct cycle and inventory counts as needed and assist in variance analysis and reconciliation efforts. Essential Skills One or more years of experience utilizing Oracle EBS or similar warehouse management systems. Qualified experience with forklifts, order pickers, and turret trucks. Proficiency with RF/barcode scanners in high-volume warehousing environments. A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. At least one year of general warehouse work experience. At least one year of experience operating lift equipment, including order pickers and narrow aisle reach trucks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Self-managed collaborator comfortable working in demanding environments. Willingness to cross-train in other work centers such as Receiving and Inventory. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to safely work for extended periods, mostly standing, beyond an 8-hour workday. Capability to lift materials up to 45 pounds. Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Adherence to health and safety policies and quality standards. Why Work Here? You will be engaged in a fast-paced environment that demands physical activity, including standing for extended periods. The role may require working overtime, on holidays, and weekends as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
