Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at a bustling parts and distribution center on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by processing, packing, and shipping dealer orders, as well as maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the facility. Responsibilities Process, pack, and ship dealer orders in accordance with company standards. Receive, check, and organize parts received from suppliers and dealers into the Distribution Center. Stock parts into correct locations in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facilities at all times. Adhere to company property policies and procedures. Follow operational, management, and environmental systems as per company standards. Perform all other assigned duties as necessary. Essential Skills Warehouse and logistics experience. Proficiency in picking, packing, and shipping processes. Good mathematical aptitude. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Capability to perform limited data entry, such as entering 8-digit part numbers and quantities. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Preference for ex-military personnel. Prior experience in a Distribution Center environment is advantageous. Work Environment This position is located at a parts and distribution center for the East Coast, operating within a unionized facility. The environment requires physical activity, including bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting weights ranging from 1 ounce to over 150 pounds with assistance. The role involves standing or walking for most of the workday. The facility employs 32 full-time staff and reports directly to the headquarters in Rockleigh, NJ. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rutherford, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
