Job Description
Overview Industrial Packaging Corporation (IPC) is a family-owned and operated business dedicated to creating solutions for all your packaging needs. Since our founding in 1989, we've supplied customized packing products and warehousing services to companies throughout the Midwest. Our commitment to quality, safety and efficiency sets us apart. We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise in a warehouse setting. Additionally, having truck driving experience to drive a product loaded straight truck a couple miles to Ashley Furniture for delivery. What To Expect Bring your resume, a photo ID and Social Security Card Meet briefly with a company representative for a same-day interview (plan for 20-30 minutes) Tour of the facility for interested candidates Responsibilities- Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment within our facility.
- Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.
- Transport raw materials to production areas and finished products to storage or shipping areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures for operating forklifts.
- Collaborate with Team members to meet production goals.
- Delivery of IPC Products to Ashley Furniture via straight truck. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience operating forklifts.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following safety protocols. 4:30AM to 3PM Monday thru Thursday (4 Days 10-Hour Days) (Occasional Fri. OT) Pay will be based on experience.
