Key Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Consolidates requests for back orders or missing items from job carts Identifies and tracks frequency of outages/shortages Analyzes issues and opportunities through the use of pareto data and recommend potential point of use storage items Manages Kanban levels and alerts/recommends adjustments based on replenishment levels Audits VMI levels and identify issues Materials handling of enclosure carts Performs data collection and problem solving Processes and replenishes back orders Assists in cycle counts Uses computer to enter records Helps maintain clean and orderly warehouse Performs additional duties as assigned Drives material cost savings Processes inventory turns/obsolete inventory Follows workflow processes and standard work instructions Problem solves and communicates effectively with work team Contributes ideas for continuous improvement of workflow and processes Follows all safety guidelines and procedures Performs other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma and 3 - 5 plus years prior stockroom experience Knowledge of inventory control software and order processing systems Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook is required Forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified Working knowledge of basic manufacturing parts and processes Interpersonal, Leadership, and Technical Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information in one- on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to maintain self-motivation
