Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to work at a fast paced food packaging company in Burlington. Hours are 7:00 am
- 3:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse and supply production lines with products.
- Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment
- Move products and materials throughout the day and wrap pallets
- Follow all food safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- 2+ years solid experience operating stand up and sit-down forklifts and other equipment
- Proficient in material handling techniques including operating pallet jacks, and good organizational skills, familiar with safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. and physically demanding tasks
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
