Job Description
2nd SHIFT!!!! Overview We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler / Picker Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, handling, and packing of products to support seamless warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely handle, pick, pack, and transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, finished goods, packaging supplies, and containers throughout the facility. Pick up and deliver materials, parts, products, and supplies to production presses, work areas, shipping departments, and other designated locations. Package and prepare work-in-process and finished products for shipment while ensuring materials are properly protected and identified. Verify shipment information and accurately complete all required shipping, material identification, inventory, and production paperwork. Accurately document shipment details and maintain organized records to support inventory and shipping accuracy. Return properly identified materials to designated inventory locations and maintain neat, organized storage areas. Load and unload material coils and safely move heavy materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Complete required forklift certification and operate equipment safely and efficiently. Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and maintain required equipment inspection records. Plan and coordinate the movement of parts, materials, products, and containers to ensure production and shipping areas have needed supplies on time. Assist production operators and shipping personnel with timely delivery of materials, products, containers, and packaging supplies. Identify and properly dispose of scrap materials according to company procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and clearly identified material, production, and shipping areas. Follow all safety procedures and practice safe, alert, and efficient material-handling techniques. Support daily production and shipping operations while maintaining high standards for accuracy, quality, and productivity. Perform additional duties as assigned. #
