Job Title:
Quality Technician Job Description This Quality Technician role provides critical support to the Quality Team by covering responsibilities while the current quality control technician is on medical leave. The position focuses on document control, quality documentation, and the preparation of customer-facing quality records. You will help ensure that all material certifications, quality data, and compliance documents are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Responsibilities Support the Quality Team by performing quality control and documentation activities during the current technician's medical leave. Manage document control processes, ensuring all quality records are accurate, current, and properly organized. Compile and prepare customer documentation packages, including material certifications, quality data, and compliance records. Create and assemble certificates of compliance in accordance with internal standards and customer requirements. Review quality documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with quality control procedures. Perform quality checks and inspections as needed to support overall quality control activities. Collaborate with internal teams to obtain required information and documentation for customer submissions. Maintain adherence to quality standards and ISO-related documentation requirements. Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues in quality data or documentation to the appropriate team members. Essential Skills Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality control role. Hands-on quality control experience, including quality checks and inspections. Strong document control experience, with the ability to manage, organize, and maintain quality records. Background in quality documentation, including preparation and review of quality-related documents. Experience compiling and preparing customer documentation such as material certifications, quality data, and compliance documents. Ability to create and assemble certificates of compliance. Familiarity with ISO-related quality standards and documentation practices. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work accurately with quality data and compliance information. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a quality-focused role within an energy-related or industrial environment is beneficial. Strong communication skills to coordinate documentation and information with internal teams and customers. Comfort using basic office software and documentation tools to manage and compile quality records. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Work Environment The role is based in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment that emphasizes a supportive and family-like culture. The organization is experiencing significant growth within the energy field, offering exposure to a dynamic and expanding industry. You will work closely with the Quality Team and other departments to support quality control and documentation needs, using standard office and documentation tools in a professional setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grafton, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
