At Valley Companies (VC), we know that the key to success and growth is a high-performing team. We are now seeking new Warehouse employee at our Hammond, WI location. The Warehouse position plays an important role in the success of the company. Warehouse employees will operate well maintained forklifts for most of their day. Work is consistently made up of loading and unloading trailers along with other assigned duties such as keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Since 1935 we have been dedicated to finding the best solutions for our customers. Our employees are second to none and create value by being themselves. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Independence, professionalism, and interpersonal skills Organization and time management skills Dependable and able to work in a team environment Ability to communicate effectively and receive instruction Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Forklift and non-motorized pallet jack operation (able to train) Perform operation and safety checks prior to using all equipment Proper handling of hazardous materials as it pertains to bills of lading, freight bills, placarding, employee training, and accidents Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of warehouse or forklift experience (preferred) Pre-employment drug screen Basic computer and Microsoft Office literacy skills (preferred)
