Job Description
Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Material Handler for our Janesville, WI Distribution Center. The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, optimizing space utilization, and contributing to the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and teamwork while supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. Complete required equipment inspections and maintain forklift certification. Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers while following established safety and quality standards. Inspect incoming materials and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Stage, deliver, and return raw materials to support production schedules and operational needs. Utilize inventory management systems to accurately track material movements, inventory transactions, and storage locations. Store raw materials, finished goods, and other materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy. Verify pallet configurations, labels, barcodes, and packaging requirements prior to shipment. Perform cycle counts and inventory verification activities to support inventory accuracy and inventory control processes. Maintain housekeeping standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment. Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles. Experience using computers for inventory transactions, data entry, or warehouse management activities. Ability to read and understand written instructions, schedules, and work procedures. What Will Put You Ahead Current forklift certification. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory control software. Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a GMP, food packaging, food processing, or similar regulated environment. Bilingual in Spanish and English. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
