We distribute food throughout the Upper Midwest. As a Warehouse Selector at Upper Lakes Foods, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring a seamless flow of products in our energetic warehouse. You'll take charge of loading and unloading trucks, carts, and pallets, bringing the excitement of hands-on work every day. Your keen eyes will help you move products efficiently while restocking the shelves to keep our inventory in tip-top shape. And when it comes to safety, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, quickly addressing any shortfalls to keep our team and products secure. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
To thrive as a Warehouse Selector at Upper Lakes Foods, you'll need a dynamic mix of skills and physical capability. You'll accurately build orders using industrial power equipment, so familiarity with operating powered pallet jacks and forklifts is essential. This role demands you to be physically fit, as you'll be repetitively lifting, pulling, and pushing loads of 60+ pounds while bending, reaching, and kneeling throughout your shift - you could think of it as getting paid to workout! A keen eye for detail and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols will help maintain a tidy workspace. Successful candidates will have the ability to utilize computer systems for managing incoming orders and putting products away, alongside the capacity to comprehend written and verbal instructions. A high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least six months of warehouse experience, will set you up for success.
