Driver / General Laborer

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and driving a box truck to and from designated job sites. At job sites, this role also assists for the laying and finishing poured concrete for residential, or commercial properties for projects involving, but not limited to walls or flatwork.

Essential Job Requirements:

DRIVING Work with the direction of the crew foreman on objectives needed for the projects each morning Load and unload box trucks with materials for daily needs Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials Maintain tool inventory and keep batteries charged and accounted for Keep truck stocked and maintain consumables which include but not limited to: gasoline, mixed gas, diesel & form oil Keep job site, trucks, and equipment clean

GENERAL LABORER

Follow all safety guidelines, and promote a safe work environment for self and crew Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use Install and tie rebar and wire mesh Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures Assist to align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation Clean and organize site to eliminate potential hazards Report any issues including the malfunction of equipment or vehicles immediately to foreman All other duties assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

Must have current driver's license and good driving record Use of various construction tools including but not limited to: saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware. Ability to follow directives Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing factors
