General Laborer Banks Hardwoods, located in Menomonie, WI, seeks a (full-time) General Laborer Founded in 1985, we are a leader in the wholesale hardwood lumber industry with a highly respected international brand. We are a family-owned and operated business entering our second generation. Banks Hardwoods employs over 175 people across four locations (MI, WI, CO, OK), and we are in the process of growing by acquisition. Responsibilities:

Safely handle, stack, sort, and move hardwood lumber throughout the facility Assist with loading and unloading trucks and materials as needed Inspect lumber for quality and report any defects or concerns Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Follow all company safety policies and always wear required PPE Perform general labor tasks as assigned to help support yard operations Maintain a reliable attendance record Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn new skills and operate equipment safely Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable with good attendance and punctuality Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform physical labor throughout the shift Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Spanish speaking ability is a plus
