Position Overview - 2nd shift Mon-Thurs 12:30pm-11 pm The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in both inventory, pulling orders, and stocking. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, pulling products based off of order sheets, stocking based on FIFO, and maintaining food safety standards. The Warehouse Associate uses scan guns to track and adjust inventory in the ERP system (Canopy), fulfill orders, and communicate with the office regarding shortages or out-of-stock items. Responsibilities Pull, label, and stock all frozen protein products (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) for accuracy and quality. Use scan guns to check in and track inventory, ensuring proper adjustments and corrections in the ERP (Canopy) system. Use scan guns to fulfill outbound orders, ensuring accurate quantities (boxes and weights) are filled for pulled based on order. Communicate with the office regarding any shortages or out-of-stock items in a timely manner. Organize products for proper storage and shipment. Record product temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines, assisting with HACCP documentation when necessary. Maintain clean and organized work areas including the freezer, coolers, and aisles in the building, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Perform data entry tasks related to inventory. Conduct any additional tasks and projects, as requested. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment role, preferably in a food distribution. Familiarity with using scan guns and inventory tracking systems. Basic knowledge of food safety practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and inventory. Ability to lift heavy products and work in a refrigerated environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must have a valid drivers license.
Pay:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
