Join a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship. Bennett Hardwoods is seeking a dependable, hardworking Skilled General Laborer to join our lumber manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a team that produces high-quality hardwood products. What You'll Do
  • Operate a variety of woodworking and production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with lumber processing, sorting, stacking, and material handling.
  • Load and unload lumber, supplies, and finished products.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training/certification provided if needed).
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other production and warehouse duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
  • Previous manufacturing, sawmill, woodworking, construction, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate equipment.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment.
