As a Restoration Technician, you'll respond to homes and businesses impacted by water, fire, mold, and other unexpected property damage. No two days are the same, and you'll work alongside a supportive team that takes pride in restoring properties, and peace of mind for our customers. A Day in the Life Your morning starts at our Racine office with a quick team meeting. You'll review the day's schedule, load equipment, and head out with your crew to the first job. One day you might be extracting water after a flooded basement. The next, you could be cleaning smoke damage after a kitchen fire or setting drying equipment after a pipe burst. You'll learn to use professional restoration equipment, document your work, and communicate with customers throughout the process. At the end of the day, you'll return to the shop, unload equipment, prepare the truck for tomorrow, and head home knowing you made a real difference for someone. What You'll Be Doing Respond to residential and commercial restoration projects Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and debris removal Set up and monitor drying equipment Clean contents and affected building materials Take photos and document job progress Communicate professionally with customers and teammates Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Follow safety procedures and SERVPRO standards What We're Looking For We're much more interested in attitude than experience. We're looking for someone who: Shows up on time and is dependable Works well with a team Isn't afraid of physical work Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Takes pride in doing quality work Can communicate respectfully with customers Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Experience in restoration, construction, cleaning, or general labor is helpful, but we're happy to train the right person.
