(4)-10hr days As a general laborer you would be responsible for performing production work. Production work includes processes such as part kitting, packaging, assembly, installation of PEMs, metal finish, sanding/deburr, removal of parts from cutting processes to meet customer orders for quality conforming parts.

Job Responsibilities:

Read and follow instructions on job traveler Read and understand blueprints Use basic measure tools such as caliper, tape measure, height gage Follow and document quality plan for inspection of parts Recognize defects in parts, not limited to rust, damage, missing features, not matching print. Identify material type in conformance with print / job traveler specification Handle parts for the process and package according to instructions Label parts with matching job label including quantity and next operation Maintain work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environment this includes general cleaning and housekeeping.

Skills/Qualifications:

General part handling and use of tools. Shop experience is beneficial to success in this job.

Process experience such as:

PEM, Spotweld, grinding, deburring, riveting, assembly, kitting is desired but not required. Will train the right candidate based on experience. Attention to processes, print and process requirements, quality control and following instruction are important skills for success in this role.

Physical Requirements:

General part handling. Use of hands to hold parts, hand tools, operator and adjust machines.. Standing, walking, bending and lifting. Actuation of machine controls, such as foot pedals. Weights up to 40lbs for parts. Higher parts weights in areas equipped with lifting equipment or team lift.
