Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing general warehouse duties while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. This position will also cross-train in a variety of warehouse operations, including material handling, tire mounting, weight installation, and quality inspections. The associate is expected to perform all assigned duties safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned. Assist with material handling and movement of products and materials. Cross-train in tire mounting and weight installation. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Operate warehouse equipment safely after appropriate training. Work effectively as part of a team and assist in other areas as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in tire mounting strongly preferred. Ability to operate tire mounting, balancing, and related shop equipment. Forklift experience preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy tires and equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, bending, lifting and manual handling of tires and equipment. Exposure to loud noises, dust and shop/warehouse environment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Must have steel toed shoes.
Work Schedule:
40 hrs/week Monday -
Friday Day Shift Compensation:
