General Laborer Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal forming, stamping, bending, cutting, or fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines
  • Inspect parts for quality, dimensions, and defects
  • Perform basic machine setup and adjustments as directed
  • Maintain production pace and follow work instructions
  • Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Package, label, band, and palletize finished products
  • Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials against packing slips and work orders
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Transport raw materials, tooling, and finished goods throughout the facility
  • Stack and store materials properly in designated locations
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Assist multiple departments based on production needs
  • Fill in for absent employees or support bottleneck operations
  • Help with cleanup, maintenance, and general labor tasks
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Requirements for
General Laborer:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred
  • Ability to read basic work orders and shipping documents
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment
