Job Description
Apogee Architectural Metals Material Handler I
- Inventory & Shipping (Multiple Shifts Available) Job Overview Join our team and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Shift:
2:00 PM- 10:00 PM 3rd
Shift:
10:00 PM- 6:00 AM A/B Days (2-2-3): 6:00 AM
- 6:00 PM A/B Nights (2-2-3): 6:00 PM
- 6:00 AM Key Responsibilities Receive, pick, pack, and ship materials accurately Manage inventory, including cycle counts and stock rotation Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking and reporting Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders or inventory Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and SOPs Perform basic computer and data entry tasks Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks) Maintain organized and efficient inventory storage Support all Material Handler I responsibilities through cross-training Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to operate basic material handling equipment Ability to use and read measuring devices (tape measures) Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.
