Job Overview Material Handler I assists in accurately handling inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Materials team works together to receive, pick, pack, and ship product to customers. Key Responsibilities Ability to manage inventory, including cycle counting and stock rotation. Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting inventory. Basic problem-solving skills for handling discrepancies in orders or inventory. Ability to read and interpret work instructions. Perform basic computer functions related to data entry. Strong organizational skills for efficient space utilization and inventory management. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely. Must be cross-trained and able to support all Material Handler I roles. Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Operation of basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks). Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.). Ability to follow blueprints. Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
