Job Description

Badger State Staffing is seeking General Laborers for a contract position based out of the Weyauwega area. In this role, you'll ensure the precise and efficient winding of flexible packaging materials onto spools. These spools are then prepared for production states or for direct distribution, making your contribution vital to the operational flow and product quality. Responsibilities Operate and monitor spool winding machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production specifications Load and unload flexible packaging materials onto spools, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency Perform quality checks on wound spools, identifying and dressing any imperfections Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow Complete production logs and documentation as needed
Schedule:
This position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with shifts running from 5 AM to 5 PM (days) and 5 PM to 5 AM (nights).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting machinery Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and perform repetitive tasks Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment Reliability and punctuality to support the rotating 2-2-3 schedule
