LJc Role Impact:
As part of an aseptic, beverage manufacturing facility, a Material Handler will be critical in ensuring safe and efficient movement of material throughout the facility. In this role, the Material Handler will be responsible for operating various equipment to assist in the moment of materials. Role Responsibilities Responsible for processing, distributing, shipping, and receiving warehouse items. Loads and unloads stock from delivery vehicles, loading bays, and storage locations. Transports material to different locations within the facility using a variety of machinery. Safely secures and handles inventory using machinery such as forklifts and floor jacks. Optimizes loads to ensure operational efficiency. Follows inventory management procedures using scanning equipment to ensure efficiency in locating, categorizing, and storing of inventory. Ensures supply levels are being tracked and buying suggestions are being submitted regularly. Uses production records to keep track of the number of items handled and transferred each day. Picking and wrapping orders for shipment. Utilizes pallets to store materials in designated locations. Inspects vehicles for damages and schedule vehicles for maintenance and repairs. Adheres to production schedules. Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety management standards, including PPE requirements. Follow Food Safety Requirement/Standards as needed. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic mathematical and calculation skills. Experience & Skills Proficiency in operating technical machinery. Valid fork-lift certificate preferred. Experience operating equipment in an aseptic food and beverage manufacturing facility highly preferred. Demonstrate understanding of Clean-in Place (CIP) production preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for entire shift. Must be able to work with equipment that contains electromagnetic components.
