Job Description

Warehouse and Delivery Assistant Tuesday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, every Saturday 7:30am to 4pm $16.50 hour. Paid every 2 weeks. Must have Class D license and clean driving record.

Warehouse Assistant:
  • Move inventory and materials across facilities. Must have physical agility and be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular. Must be able to maneuver 200 pounds with a dolly.
  • Process inventory for delivery.
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
  • Package items and label correctly.
  • Scan delivered items and ensure quality.
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Ability to work independently, while also being a strong "team player" Experience driving a forklift is a plus Delivery Assistant as needed: Exhibits exceptional customer service 100% of the time.
Must be able to lift and maneuver furniture up and down stairs, around tight corners Ensures merchandise is loaded onto the delivery truck in the correct order, with the last delivery loaded on the truck first, and the first delivery loaded closer to the truck door. Maintains cleanliness of delivery vehicle. Ensures that merchandise is wrapped and padded to protect it from damage in transit. Positions merchandise in the customer home according to their direction. Assembles furniture as needed. Clear and concise communication skills. Assists with customer issues. Ability to listen and comprehend directions, complaints, and concerns Ability to read maps. Prefer a knowledge of surrounding geographic area. Ability to sit for extended periods of time
