THE POSITION
Operate a Non-CDL 26' straight truck delivering automotive parts to established dealerships throughout Nitro, WV area. All DDS routes are unattended overnight routes, Monday through Friday, with assigned start times and required delivery windows.ROUTE AREA

- Safely operate a 26' straight truck
- Load and unload automotive parts and freight
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Meet required dealership delivery times
- Safely operate pallet jacks and equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
- Use GPS, dispatch, and scanning technology
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues
- Provide professional customer service
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE AT LEAST 26 YEARS OF AGE
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 18 months truck-driving experience, preferably straight-truck
- Delivery or route-driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- No DUI or reckless-driving violations
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
- Able to pass AGL's Physical Ability Test (PAT)
- DOT medical card or ability to obtain one before hire
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently overnight
