The Material Handler under direct supervision, assists in bulk loading, material delivery/loading, & packing.

Pay Rate:

Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience

Assignment Length:

3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Shift Details:

7:00 am - 5:00 pm | Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload bulk trucks, railcars, barges, flatbeds, and van trailers with the correct material grade and weight. Adheres to HSE guidelines and observes all safety rules and procedures. Load packaged materials, re-stack and shrink-wrap pallets, and complete all required shipping paperwork. Drive a forklift to move materials as needed. Routinely lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 lbs. Help with manual labor tasks like mud building and preparation. Keep safety at the forefront of all activities and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Spend shifts working outdoors in various weather conditions. Work weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than 10 hours when necessary.

Qualifications:

Skills are typically acquired through completion of a High School diploma or equivalent. A valid Driver's license is required. CDL and Safeland certification is a plus. Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Punctual, dependable, and reachable by phone for scheduling. Motivated, positive attitude, and willing to work long hours when needed. Committed to following safety policies and wearing required protective gear. Ability to take direction and work closely with others in a team environment.
