POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Lead - Recycling is responsible for coordinating and overseeing recycling operations, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and supporting community engagement initiatives. This role involves scheduling, record-keeping, and assisting with program growth while maintaining a person-centered approach.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
1. Ability to lift and stand for extended periods. 2. Work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise).
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS/TASKS/RESPONSIBILIITES
1. Coordinate the vocational recycling program with the Supervisor and Production Coordinator. 2. Manage daily scheduling with the City of Bardstown and Nelson County. 3. Update and maintain the recycling Facebook page and other community outreach platforms. 4. Assist in obtaining information regarding recycling trailer pick-up and drop-off. 5. Participate in monthly recycling meetings to support program growth. 6. Attend Monthly ABNC - Community Planning Group meetings. 7. Collaborate on community videos and newspaper articles with the Supervisor. 8. Maintain accurate record-keeping, including daily documentation. 9. Assist with production work in recycling operations. 10. Support supervision in procuring additional recycling contracts in collaboration with the Production Coordinator and Supervisor. 11. Attend in-service training and apply knowledge to improve program services. 12. Develop close working relationships with families, guardians, and service providers to ensure individual needs are met. 13. Assist in developing person-centered programs. 14. Contribute to the development of community resources, facilities, and services. 15. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in environmental management or related field preferred. 2. 2+ years of experience in recycling operations or waste management, with leadership experience preferred. 3. Strong knowledge of recycling processes and safety standards. 4. Excellent communication and organizational skills. 5. Ability to operate and troubleshoot recycling equipment. 6. Basic computer skills for reporting and social media updates.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
1. Adheres to all policies and procedures of Inlet Health and subsidiaries. 2. Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.
