Weekend Recycling Drop-Off Supervisor Part-Time | 12 Hours/Week | $23/Hour Glass Half Full is looking for a friendly, dependable, and self-motivated Weekend Recycling Drop-Off Supervisor to help operate our weekend community recycling drop-off programs. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position. The ideal candidate is extremely reliable , comfortable working independently, and enjoys interacting with the public.

Schedule Saturday:

7:00 AM - 12:30 PM, starting in

Jefferson Parish Sunday:

9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, starting in Orleans Parish Approximately 12 hours per week $23/hour Responsibilities Help set up and operate weekend recycling drop-off events Greet and assist residents as they arrive Help customers unload recyclables from their vehicles and place materials into the correct recycling bins Direct vehicle traffic to keep cars moving safely and efficiently through the site Check in and help coordinate other staff members working the event Monitor recycling bins and the overall drop-off area throughout the shift Collect, record, and submit basic operational data after each event Drive a company pickup truck or similar vehicle as needed Help with setup, cleanup, and other tasks necessary to keep the drop-off running smoothly Serve as a friendly and professional representative of Glass Half Full What We're Looking For Extremely reliable and punctual — weekend attendance is a critical part of this position Friendly, positive, and comfortable interacting with the public Strong customer service and communication skills Self-sufficient and able to work with limited supervision Self-starter who can recognize what needs to be done and take initiative Organized and able to handle basic reporting/data collection Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet throughout the shift Able to safely lift and move recyclable materials Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive a pickup truck or similar vehicle Compensation $23.00 per hour | Approximately 12 hours per week
