Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Waste Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and/or handling medical waste. The Warehouse Supervisor provides leadership and oversees the operation, activities and housekeeping of the warehouse and dock. This position is in charge of managing incoming and outgoing waste shipments in accordance with Company's policies and practices as well as applicable regulations. They may also be responsible for ordering supplies and keeping an up-to-date inventory. Other essential duties will include supervising and managing the performance of warehouse workers, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and training warehouse personnel.

Duties:

• Ensure all warehouse personnel perform their tasks safely while utilizing PPE and other safety equipment at all times.
• Ensure the warehouse employees maintain productivity standards in all phases of their standards of their operations.
• Initiate actions to ensure timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions or practices.
• Train all new warehouse personnel and provide appropriate training of all current warehouse personnel, as required or requested, including safety and compliance.
• Maintain a high level of customer service satisfaction either internally or externally.
• Interface professionally with transportation personnel to achieve business goals.
• Monitor daily performance of warehouse employees, directly or within guidance, providing feedback (including growth opportunities). Influence hiring and firing decisions and disciplinary procedures. Assist in resolving warehouse problems and issues between drivers and warehouse personnel.

• Process Waste:

  Unload waste from incoming vehicles; separate non‑autoclavable waste for incineration. Load autoclave bins with waste for treatment.
• Organize biomedical waste containers and sharps disposal boxes.

• Operate Equipment:

  Run high-heat autoclave to sterilize waste materials. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.

• Other Duties :

  Perform assigned tasks related to equipment maintenance, process improvement, and safety compliance

• Follow Safety Rules:

  Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and inspect regulated waste as it comes in for treatment.

• Physical Job Responsibilities:

  Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.

• Maintain Facility:

  Clean and sanitize the warehouse floor and equipment daily to prevent contamination.

Record Keeping:

Maintain company operational records and data, specific to the job function

Skills:

• Experience working with an autoclave is a plus
• Previous experience as a Supervisor in a Warehouse or medical waste handling roles is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Capable of loading and unloading materials safely
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus We will provide and/or offer the following:
