Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and employees of Meadow Brook Hall by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures and monitoring the premises and personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier. Previous security, law enforcement or other related experience. Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation. Excellent integrity and demonstrated good moral character and initiative. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be available to work weekend and nighttime hours. Must be able to work in a stationary position as well as remain standing for periods of time. Must be able to traverse the estate to make regular rounds and to visually inspect areas for safety.
