Job Description
Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Sales and Service Rep to grow environmental service sales within the Transportation & Logistics sector. In this field-based role, you will manage a route of industrial and automotive customers, promoting used oil recycling, parts cleaning, and waste management programs. Responsibilities include prospecting and upselling services, ensuring compliant handling and transport of materials, completing service documentation, and coordinating logistics. You'll work closely with operations teams, follow strict safety and environmental standards, and educate customers on sustainable solutions while achieving sales targets and providing excellent service. Responsibilities Manage a route of industrial, automotive, and commercial customers in the transportation and logistics sector Promote and sell used oil recycling, parts cleaning, and environmental services to new and existing accounts Ensure safe, compliant handling, packaging, and transport of materials in accordance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations Complete accurate service orders, manifests, and related documentation Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to schedule and optimize service routes Educate customers on sustainable waste management and recycling solutions Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets while maintaining strong customer relationships Conduct site visits and assessments to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities Adhere to Safety-Kleen and Clean Harbors safety standards and participate in safety meetings and trainings Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on customer needs and market trends Required Skills B2 B sales and account management Route sales or field service operations Knowledge of environmental and hazardous waste handling Transportation and logistics coordination Customer relationship management (CRM) software Regulatory compliance (EPA, DOT, OSHA) Negotiation and closing skills Technical understanding of used oil and parts cleaning systems Safety and incident reporting procedures Documentation and recordkeeping
