We have been recycling metal in Lane County for over 25 years and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working person to join our maintenance team immediately.
General Responsibilities:
Drive light duty manual truck to pick up parts locally under the direction of our Parts Coordinator and Shop Manager Assist with receiving inventory and entering inventory into the computer system Unpack incoming merchandise, mark part numbers on articles and stock on shelves Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to lift regularly and or move up to 15 lbs and occasionally lift and move not more than 50 pounds Forklift experience preferred
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Able to talk and hear Standing, sitting, walking, squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, and grasping Dexterity of hands and fingers Lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist level and carry such objects for at least 30 feet Exposed to moving mechanical parts Frequently exposed to wet and humid conditions, heat, and outside weather conditions The noise level in the work environment varies from loud to very loud
Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand instructions and emergency communications 18 years of age Good driving record Must be able to pass background test Reliable - good attendance is required
